VGE-7031 Low Temperature Varnish

The electrical conductivity and bonding properties of the VGE-7031 insulating varnish adhesive, combined with its chemistry and good saturation properties, make it an excellent low temperature material. As an adhesive, VGE-7031 bonds a wide range of materials with short cycle times and can be air dried or baked. It is excellent for laminating many materials and can be baked immediately after application to the bonded part, or it can be baked and then air dried after the part has been assembled or stored for a few hours, a few days, or up to 7 weeks. It is also an insulating adhesive at low temperatures and is often used as a bonding agent for sensors.

VGE-7031 when dry coexists with a wide variety of materials including cotton, Dacron polyester fibers, nylon glass tape, laminates, Mylar polyester film, mica products, polyester products, vinyl plastic products, enameled wires, paints, rayon, plastics and metals. When immersed in cigarette paper, it makes a very good, high thermal conductivity, low electrical conductivity heat sink sheet.
