Micro Continuous Flow Thermostat FLV-80M

Micro Continuous Flow Thermostat FLV-80M

Product Introduction

The Avantgarde FLV-80M micro-miniature continuous flow thermostat provides precise temperature variation and control over the temperature range of 4K to 450K (liquid helium) and 78K to 450K (liquid nitrogen). The sample chamber has a separate cover that allows for quick opening of the chamber when sample changes are required. In order to satisfy customers' electrical testing needs, the cryostat can be configured with a variety of electrical leads (e.g., Ph-Br wires, coaxial and tri-coaxial cables, etc., resistor holders or probe holders) according to experimental needs. The thermostat comes standard with top and bottom clear fused silica windows transmitting wavelengths from the UV to the NIR, and other window materials are available to meet a wide spectral range of tests from the far/medium infrared, UV to X-ray.

The micro thermostats are designed specifically for microscopy, imaging and high spatial resolution photoluminescence. Typical applications include spectroscopic testing (PL spectroscopy, FTIR and UV-Visible), electrical testing (conductivity, Hall effect) as well as cryogenic imaging, microscopy and component testing. The special construction of the cryostat provides a short working distance (for high magnification optical systems) for easy mounting on common microscope stages and panning tables.

System Features:

- Wide temperature range: from 4K to 450K, with depressurization down to ~2K
- Short working distance: with different sample holders, the sample can be wirelessly approached to the window.
- Samples are cooled in vacuum by thermal conduction.
- Compact sample space design for electrical or microscopic experiments requiring high working distance.
- Low refrigerant consumption, only 0.4L of liquid helium is required to reduce the temperature from room to 5K, and 0.1L/h of liquid nitrogen is required to maintain 80K.
- Standardly equipped with 2 optical windows with 25mm viewing range.
- Equipped with temperature control system
- Supports standard optical, probe and resistive sample holders, a variety of sample holders to choose from.
- Sample chamber with separate top cover for easy sample changing
- Compact size for easy integration into commercial spectrometer equipment
