DC probes are available in tungsten and beryllium copper, with tungsten probes being more durable and suitable for a wide range of contact surfaces, with good hardness and the ability to penetrate oxidized layers, while beryllium copper probes have lower contact resistance and are suitable for contacting gold-plated electrodes.
