Frequently used functions can be accessed with a single keystroke or shift plus keystroke. For other functions, a menu-driven format directs the user to the
button front panel interface.
The AMI Integrated Magnet Power System includes a digital-based Type 430 power supply programmer that provides simplified, flexible operation and precise
low-drift magnet current control. The standard system is housed in a rugged 19" rack mount cabinet. Standard 4-quadrant systems range from 5 A to 250 A, while standard bipolar ratings range from 100 A to 500 A. Bipolar systems include an AMI Model 601 energy absorber to enable bipolar operation and allow for fast ramping of the power supply from a single-pole source.
